Achooo! It spreads faster
Jul 20, 2022
If you thought sneezing without covering your mouth does not really matter, think again, it can travel farther than you thought. A study conducted at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology indicated that germs from a sneeze could travel up to 26 feet. It also depends on the environment. Warm and moist environment can make the droplets stay in the air for a longer time. While small droplets tend to stay in the air for longer time, large droplets fall quickly on to the ground. In order to stop the spread of germs, it is best to cover your mouth or wear a mask. And also ensure you wash your hands with soap or a sanitiser.
