YOU’RE 1 CM TALLER IN THE MORNING THAN IN THE EVENING
Did you notice you look taller in the morning? How can that be? During the day, the cartilage in knees compress due to our activities. When we sleep, the body is at rest and cartilage comes back to its original form and that is why we find ourselves taller in the morning by 1 cm. Also, gravity flattens the materials between vertebrae and pushes out water from between spinal discs when we stand. This might make one centimetre lose from the height. Isn’t it amazing how our body’s mechanism works?
